Color SpheresColor Spheres are the most popular type of sphere in Circulate. They can be grouped together so that they pop out, or gathered together into containers depending on the level's objectives. |
ContainerEach Container features a sign above it which tells you exactly what the container should contain to meet a level's objectives. Some containers are combined with doors, allowing you to keep the contents in place. |
Stop SpheresStop Spheres are insanely useful. If you click on one it will stop where it is, effectively become a piece of scenery. Stop Spheres are handy for creating routes for your other spheres, or blocking off areas of a level! |
UFO SpheresUFO Spheres are grumpy things, constantly complaining whenever you push them around. Unfortunately for them, that's just what you have to do in order to guide them to their container. Use Move Spheres to control UFOs. |
BombClick on a bomb to trigger its count down. When it blows up it'll take out the spheres around it. A bomb will continue to move around the level even when it's counting down, so be careful not to blow up anything you shouldn't! |
Fire SpheresFire Spheres are hot! They will instantly melt Ice Spheres, but in turn they will be put out and disappear in a cloud of steam. Fire Spheres will also pop Bubble Spheres, so please be careful with them! |
Bubble SpheresBubble Spheres are unique in Circulate. They are the only sphere type that will ignore gravity and float upwards. They are very fragile and can be popped by a number of sphere types, including Fire Spheres! |
Crystal SphereThese Crystal Spheres are fragile, even more fragile than Bubble Spheres! If they drop from too high up they will instantly shatter which typically signifies the level cannot be completed. Handle them with kid gloves! |
Magnet SpheresMagnet Spheres can be switched on and off by clicking on them. When they're turned on they will attract any other Magnet or Metal Spheres around them. Great for creating big chains to help guide your other spheres! |
Dice SphereDice Spheres are simply crazy. They boing around levels like nobody's business and they might just drive you crazy too! Unfortunately a lot of the time they need to be controlled in containers, good luck guiding them there! |
DoorDoors can be very handy indeed. After guiding a bunch of spheres into a new area, on some levels you can click on these doors to keep them there. This frees you up to guide some other spheres around the level! |
Metal SpheresSimilar to Color Spheres except that they do not pop out of the level when grouped together. Sometimes you'll need to gather them into containers, other times they just get in the way! They are attracted to Magnet Spheres. |
Ice SpheresIce Spheres are the opposite of Fire Spheres. When an Ice Sphere and a Fire Sphere of a similar size come into contact, they will cancel each other out. Large Ice Spheres will put out small Fire Spheres! |
Meter SpheresMeter Spheres are very fussy about just how far you are tilting a level. They constantly measure a level's angle, and when the black marker goes outside of the red area on the meter, it'll blow up and the level ends immediately! |
Force FieldForce Fields are similar to doors, except that you cannot control them yourself. They will continually switch on and off, great for introducing an element of timing to any level on which they appear! |
Move SphereClick on a Move Sphere to switch it on and off. An active Move Sphere will constantly follow your mouse pointer. You can use Move Spheres to push other spheres around a level, great for when there's a Meter Sphere present! |
ShapesShapes come in a variety of shapes and sizes. In general they tend to get in the way. Shapes can be fixed in a level so that they become a revolving door. Keep flicking the level around and you'll get them where you want them! |
Pod SpherePod Spheres contantly pop out new spheres into the level. Sometimes they only have a certain amount of spheres to produce, other times they just keep on going. They have an annoying habit of producing both Fire and Ice Spheres! |
Black HoleSucks in almost anything that gets too close. This isn't always a bad thing as some levels require you to get rid of a bunch of spheres. Most levels however will have you avoiding Black Holes like the plague! |
Circular WallCircular Walls are just the right shape to keep your spheres in. Luckily most of them have a gap which allows the spheres to get out again. Most Circular Walls will slowly rotate around, so watch your timing! |
WallsWalls are your best friend should you decide to use the level editor. Nothing passes through them, allowing you to define a level's structure. You can vary a wall's length, shape and thickness and have as many of them as you like! |
